WHAT DO WE LIVE FOR?

If the world around you doesn't fulfill your expectations, and thoughts like "What do I live for?" and "What is the meaning of my life?" keep bothering you, we need to talk. It's not a feeling of melancholy, and no medicine will cure it.
Rather the answer is you are so special. The black dot in you heart has just begun to grow. You are in the beginning of your path. Thousands of people were shown that way and they are on the move already.
Age, religion, race and gender don't matter. Find out the truth about yourself.

HOW TO DECIDE WHAT YOU WANT IN LIFE

1. Try new things. Don’t be afraid of failure or afraid that you won’t enjoy something. Just because you decide to try something doesn’t mean you will be stuck with it.
I wanted to try a mind/body exercise program. I went to Tai Chi and Qiqong classes but didn’t really enjoy them that much. However I also tried yoga, I immensely enjoyed it and I have stuck with it since. Not everything new you try will stick. But by trying new things you will find something you have a passion for.

2. Imagine you have time and money freedom. Imagine that you didn’t have to go to work anymore. And imagine you had an unlimited amount of money. Lets say I gave you 10 billion dollars right now. How would you spend your days? What would you do with your time if there was nothing that you had to do but only things that you wanted to do? Most people think they would spend the rest of their life swinging in a hammock on the beach. But that would get pretty boring after a while and you would look for exciting things to do.

3. Become aware of your cultural myths. Two kids, a dog, a house in the suburbs and a white picket fence. Sound familiar? Shelve these. They are what your culture tells you to want.

4. Expel other people’s desires. If other people’s dreams have found there way into your subconscious you need to become aware of these and then expel them. If you are living out your parent’s dream then you will never be truly happy.

5. Figure out your own truth. You may have been brought up to believe that success is getting a good job and making a lot of money. If you don’t consciously correct that belief then that scenario will play out. You need to manually override that with your own truth. I believe that success is actually about creatively expressing yourself, having new experiences and forming human relationships. Believing that then allows me to open myself up to figuring out what it is that I really want.

6. Listen to your inner voice. We get inner nudges all the time but more often than not we are too cowardly to follow them. Listen to your inner voice this time and follow that hunch. It might lead you to a great realization and maybe you will finally decide what it is that you want from life.

PACKAGED AS WE EXPECTED

This is a story an inspiring story about a young man. you should read it!!!!!!!!!
Many months he had admired a beautiful sports car in a dealer's showroom, and knowing his father could well afford it, he told him that was all he wanted. As Graduation Day approached, the young man awaited signs that his father had purchased the car. Finally, on the morning of his graduation his father called him into his private study. His father told him how proud he was to have such a fine son, and told him how much he loved him. He handed his son a beautiful wrapped gift box. Curious, but somewhat disappointed the young man opened the box and found a lovely, leather-bound Bible. Angrily, he raised his voice at his father and said, "With all your money you give me a Bible?" and stormed out of the house, leaving the holy book. Many years passed and the young man was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and wonderful family, but realized his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that graduation day. Before he could make arrangements, he received a telegram telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his possessions to his son. He needed to come home immediately and take care of things. When he arrived at his father's house, sudden sadness and regret filled his heart. He began to search his father's important papers and saw the still new Bible, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Bible and began to turn the pages. As he read those words, a car key dropped from an envelope taped behind the Bible. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the sports car he had desired. On the tag was the date of his graduation, and the words...PAID IN FULL. How many times do we miss God's blessings because they are not packaged as we expected?

Positive thinking is the first step towards a happy life

Jeff is the kind of guy you love to hate but he’s life is so….. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!" He was a unique manager because he had several waiters who had followed him around from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the waiters followed Jeff was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jeff was there telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.
Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jeff and asked him, I don't get it! You can't be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?" he replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, Jeff, you have two choices today. You can choose to be in a good mood or you can choose to be in a bad mood. I choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I choose the positive side of life. "Yeah, right, it's not that easy," I protested. "Yes, it is, "Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. The bottom line: It's your choice how you live life." I reflected on what Jeff said. Soon thereafter, We lost touch, but I often thought about him when I made a choice about life instead of reacting to it.

WHAT MAKES GOD SMILE?

Have you ever in your life time thought of the things that make God smile? Here are few tips to keep God smiling at you.
The smile of God is the goal of your life. Since pleasing God is the first purpose of our lives, it’s important that we discover how to do it.

God smiles when we love him absolutely
God smiles when we obey him wholeheartedly
God smiles when we praise him and thank him always
God smiles when we use our abilities.
God smiles when we trust him completely.
What he looks at is the attitude of our heart and I’m sure we want God pleased by the goals of our lives.

Live your life with a purpose.

Many people today are still trying to find their purpose in life. When life has no meaning, it becomes unbearable. A young man in his twenties wrote,” I feel like I’m a failure because I’m struggling to become something, and I don’t even know what it is. All I know how to do is to get by. Someday, if I discover my purpose, I’ll feel I’m beginning to live.” the greatest tragedy is not death but a life without purpose.
Hope is essential to your life as air and water. You need hope to cope. Hope comes from having a purpose.
If you have felt hopeless, hold on! Precious and wonderful changes are going to happen in your life as you start to live it on purpose.
If touched by this write –up? Comments will be appreciated.

What drives your life?

I observed that the basic motive for success is the driving force of envy and jealousy!
The man without purpose is like a ship without a rudder. Everyone’s life is driven by something. The verb “drive” is to guide, to control or to direct. What is driving you life?
You may be driven by a problem, a pressure, or a deadline. You may be driven by a painful memory, a haunting fear or an unconscious belief. There are values and emotions that you could be driven by too. Here are five of the most common ones:
Many people are driven by guilt
Many people are driven by trepidation
Many people are driven by need of recognition and approval
Many are driven by anger and umbrage.
Many people are driven by materialism.
Think!!!!!!!!! Which of these are you driven by? Send in your comments it will be highly appreciated.

IT ALL START WITH GOD.

God is not the starting point of your life but the source of it. To discover your purpose in life, you must turn to his word, not world's wisdom. You must build your life on eternal truths not psychology.

A JOURNEY WITH PURPOSE.

Its not about you.
The purpose of your life is far greater than your own personal fulfillment and your peace of mind. if you want to know why you were placed on this planet, you must begin with God. You are born for his purpose and by his purpose.
I once got lost in the mountains. when i stopped to ask for directions, i was told,"you can't get there from here. you must start from the otherside of the mountain!" in the same way, you cannot arrive at your life's purpose by starting with a focus on yourself.
